League Competition Round 1

The first league competition of the year took place last Friday (14th November 2025) and was judged by Dave Stewart. Dave commented on the high standard of all entries, especially those in the intermediate category. It was an enjoyable evening and Dave gave some excellent feedback on all images.

Members voted on the entries for the Summer Theme Competition which was titled Melton and District. There were some excellent images but these were the top three with Gina Mees the worthy winner.

Martin's image was also awarded the clubs ultimate image of the year.

Knox Competition 2025

The Knox Competition is our annual international competition against the Knox Photographic society in Melbourne Australia

This years Competition was judged first  by Knox then by our independent  Judge David Kissman CPAGB BPE3 on 25th April

The judging was very close, with the scores tied at 377 each after the Australian judging. 

But MMPS just sneaked ahead with the final scores 760/774.

 

Images were judged out of 15 by each judge and only one image scored the top core of 30, a fantastic image of lightning submitted by one of the Knox members
